  • STUART CRYSTAL SCENT Bottles , Pair, 20th Century, Clear Glass, Dressing table set.

    Two high-quality hand-blown, cut, lead crystal scent bottles, by Stuart Crystal.

    Dating to the latter half of the 20th century. The company began in early 1800s, and was taken over by Waterford Wedgewood in 1995.  The Stuart factory ceased operation in 2001.

    During its time it supplied glass to many shipping lines, including the Titanic, and 22,000 items for the Queen Mary in 1930s.

    The body of the bottle is cylindrical in shape, tapering in, then flaring out again to a cylindrical neck. The stopper is solid. 

    The main body of the bottle is cut with large criss-crosses, forming diamond shapes between.

    The base is star cut and unmarked.

    Height - 1. is approx. 8cm, 2. is approx. 7.5cm

    Both excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
